AvA in the UK · Next wave

Speed to lead, without a TPS complaint.

UK buyers expect a fast answer and a polite one, and the rules on marketing calls are enforced. AvA calls back in under a minute, screens against the lists you upload, and says it is an AI.

For businesses that talk to more customers than their team can keep up with, AvA is the AI that answers every lead, order and question in under a minute, by phone, WhatsApp, SMS or email, in the customer’s own language, then does the work behind it: qualifies, books, collects, updates your systems and follows up until it is done.

An example

A home-services quote request

A scenario, to show the job. Not a customer story.
  1. 01

Somebody asks a boiler installer for a quote through a web form at 7:40pm.

  2. 02

AvA calls within the minute, says it is the firm’s AI assistant, and asks the property type, the current boiler and the postcode.

  3. 03

It offers a survey slot from the installer’s calendar and texts a confirmation.

  4. 04

If they do not answer, it follows up by text and email, and stops the moment they say no.

Within the contact hours and consent rules you set: a lead that arrives at night can get a message straight away and a call when your hours open.

The rules

What AvA checks in the UK.

What the rules say

  • Live marketing calls must not go to numbers registered with the Telephone Preference Service (or the Corporate TPS) unless that person has told you they want them.
  • Automated marketing calls need the person’s specific prior consent.
  • Personal data is handled under UK GDPR, with the ICO as regulator.

What AvA checks

  • Every consent and withdrawal recorded with its source, in an append-only ledger
  • One opt-out stops every journey, on every channel
  • Upload TPS and CTPS lists; listed numbers are screened out before a callNew
  • UK calling hours you set, enforced per contactNew
  • AI disclosure at the start of every callNew

These are short summaries to show what AvA checks, not legal advice. The rules change and have exceptions; confirm what applies to your business with your own adviser. You decide who to contact and on what basis; AvA enforces the rules it can see and keeps the record. Trust & compliance
